COMMUNITY RESPONDERS COFFEE MORNING – 6 APRIL 2013

A coffee morning with a cake sale and raffle was held in the Coach House Inn, Rosedale Abbey to raise funds for the Updale Reading Room, which is where the Rosedale first responders train for their vital role in providing quick response to a variety of medical emergencies.

Jayne Scott for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service gave a most interesting demonstration of CPR techniques. If any people in the dale are interested in becoming a community responder, contact Linda Dagg on 01751 417003 for details.

Thanks to Howard and Daphne Hebron for hosting the event in the Coach House Inn and for the efforts of the volunteers, as the cake sale raised £70, the raffle £111 and the coffee contributions £80, making a grand total of £261.
