Pond News

The plans for the reinstatement of our pond are in hand. A full report has been received identifying the many problems. The report was conducted by a specialist and funding has been approved. We now await a reply on the appointment of a contractor. As soon as we have the nod we will notify a schedule of works …. and be calling for volunteers. It was a fine evening the last time we all got together to dig out our pond !

One of the pond's major problems is the accumulation of silt inside the leat.
