Call in to the Gillies Jones studio enjoy a changing exhibition of contemporary blown glass, or to buy finely crafted hand made bowls, all designed and made in Rosedale. Internationally acclaimed Gillies Jones glass is highly sought after and can be found in numerous museum collections including the V&A.

Rosedale Abbey Golf Course

Golfers of all ages and abilities are welcome at this nine hole course. There’s no membership required and once round will cost just £3 if you’ve brought your clubs on holiday with you, with reduced fees for a full eighteen holes. Clubs are available to hire for fifty pence per nine hole round. Open 7 days a week.

Walks in Rosedale

There are walks for all levels of ability and energy throughout Rosedale, including the old railway which affords a breathtaking panorama of the whole of Rosedale. The North York Moors website has a great selection of walks in both the dale and the surrounding area and two popular walks are the four mile walk across to Northdale and the longer Northdale Rigg.
