Internationally acclaimed Gillies Jones glass is highly sought after and can be found in numerous museum collections including the V&A. Call in to the Studio Gallery and enjoy a changing exhibition of contemporary blown glass original works, and see a range of studio production limited edition bowls, which make a perfect special occasion gift. All work on show is handmade in Rosedale.

Rosedale Abbey Golf Course

Golfers of all ages and abilities are welcome at this nine hole course. There’s no membership required and once round will cost just £3 if you’ve brought your clubs on holiday with you, with reduced fees for a full eighteen holes. Clubs are available to hire for fifty pence per nine hole round. Open 7 days a week.

Walks in Rosedale

There are walks for all levels of ability and energy throughout Rosedale, including the old railway which affords a breathtaking panorama of the whole of Rosedale. The North York Moors website has a great selection of walks in both the dale and the surrounding area and two popular walks are the four mile walk across to Northdale and the longer Northdale Rigg.
