Another great day for Rosedale when Charlotte Seller, of the Old Police House, married Captain Kenneth Neilson of the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment. After the wedding, the couple will be honeymooning in an undisclosed destination in Thailand, before setting up home in Andover where Kenneth is a staff officer in the Army Inspectorate, part of Army Headquarters there.

And finally, thanks to all those many who put up bunting, designed wonderful artifacts to decorate the approaches to and the village itself and generally helped make 1 May a special day for all in the dale.

Wednesday 24 December at 11.30 pm – Midnight Mass
All are very welcome to these services, so hope to see you there to share in the true spirit of Christmas!
Work is well underway to repair the water damage to the church ceiling. No firm estimate yet when all the work will be completed, but watch this space.
The Centenary of the outbreak of W.W.I was marked with a Remembrance Day service and laying of wreaths on behalf of the benefice and the community. The church was full of people from all five churches.
