The coffee morning in aid of the Rosedale Football Club held at the Coach House Inn this morning raised the excellent sum of £399 – well done to all who contributed, to those who donated raffle prizes and to the Coach House team for hosting.

Rosedale Christmas Auction 2020

Sadly but as expected the famous (or should that be infamous!) Christmas auction will not take place this year in the Coach House Inn. Instead there is now a draw where punters can ‘buy’ squares in the Abbey Stores and the Coach House Inn. Proceeds will go towards Rosedale Community School, the church, the Reading Room and Rosedale Football Club.
Details of prizes and the date of the draw will be notified as soon as known. Your support is, as ever, strongly requested
Rosedale FC v The NYM Gamekeepers FC
The annual charity football match between Rosedale FC and the NYM Gamekeepers team took place on Sunday 9 June on Rosedale’s infamous sloping pitch.

The final score was believed to be around 8 – 2 in Rosedale’s favour, but it was a hard contested match and, more importantly, a friendly end of season run-out for both teams.
Footie Result!
The Rosedale FC team played the Snainton Reserves team in the Beckett league at Rosedale Abbey on Saturday 1 September and won an evenly contested game 3-2 in the dying minutes of full time.

Rosedale (in black) starting another attack.
The next home game for out team is against Kirkdale on Saturday 15 September with a kick-off at 2.00pm. Please turn out to support our boys – good home support and our famous sloping pitch will help the team to victory!
