Rosedale’s traditional Christmas Auction in aid of the Reading Room/Village Hall was held at the Coach House Inn on Saturday night. After much mirth and merriment and plenty of Christmas spirit, the wonderful sum of £1600 was raised to support the running and maintenance of the building for another year.

As ever, many thanks go to Dave Oakey and the Coach House team for their cheerful and professional service throughout the hectic evening and to Dave Seller and his assistants for auctioning of the huge number of lots so efficiently – a memorable night in Rosedale and a great start to the Festive Season.
